Hello, everybody

Fluid is leaking from the gear selector shaft. I have to change transmission selector shaft seal. Could you help me to find the product number of the proper selector shaft seal.

BMW 325XI E46 2004 PR17778

Transmission is A5S390R.

The seal on link you have sent does not fit my car.

Instead of trying to remove and replace the seal, consider just adding another seal as LeverThis did. See his fix here.

Also when it leaks again, you pass the extra expense of a ridiculous time to extract the burried seal out of the trans. Which becomes quite difficult without scratching the seal surface perimeter.

Then the truth of the story gets lost and they say I'm expensive. 🤬

Just did this on my trans part number is 8644709 its a part from acdelco and fits perfect. Hard to reinstall but its meant for the gm autos with the black oil pans.
