Anything wrong with using touchless car wash (i.e., pressure sprayer) in summer or winter?

I've read that the pressure of the water embeds the little dust particles/dirt into your clear coat, so your paint will end up rough and lookign dull after a while. If you can, hand wash is always the best route.

I use it once a week between washing the car especially when a bird finds the need to crap on it. A lot of construction around where i live so its very dirty so i wash the car 2x a week usually and once is a touchless car wash andi find it does a descent job. I dont' know about what erin said i just hope not
