hi guys... i've been hanging around these boards for awhile just haven't posted....but now i really need help! ;)

i will be getting 19x8.5 hamann hm2's. i originally wanted to have either a 235/35/19 (front), 255/35/19 (back) setup OR just 235/35/19 all around. the problem now is that I wanted to get the michelin pilot sports however they dont make 235/35/19 sizes!!! :banghead: they make the 225/40 and 245/35 however. so my question is if i had to pick one of the two...which one? :dunno: do i lose or gain performance/handling going to a skinnier front tire?? i guess if i got the 245/35 fronts , the rears can be the same size also.

by the way, my '04 330i zhp is only a couple weeks away. i know these hamann rims are heavy however i heard that the zhp rims are quite heavy as well, so i dont think i'll lose too much performance.

thanks in advance for any help.

go for 235/25/19 in the front and 245/25/19 in the back or 235/35/19 all around

I think egyptnads mean235/35R19 and 245/35R19 rear, but yes I would agree. Most report rubbing with 245/35R19 on the front.

The Pirelli Pzero Nero comes in 235/35R19 and should help satisfy your craving for performance until Michelin decides to make this size.

yea sorry, i did mean 235/35/19. I say you go with Toyo TS-1s in the rear. They are great tires and their sidewalls arent so square.

k..thanks guys. I think i've decided to go 235/35/19 all around on either the pirelli pzero neros or the toyo ts-1's. there shouldn't be any rubbing problems if i get the hm2 19x8.5 rims with the 38mm offset correct? thanks again
