do they make rear tie-bars for the e46? this is a bar that bolts on directly to the car's suspension.

Are you refering to a strut tower bar?

nope, i am talking about a bar that bolts on to the rear suspension, under the rear bumper... they make them for honda, audi, etc.

i think he is talking about these



there isn't much room down there on the e46. i think our diff and sways would get in the way.

i always thought they were just and aesthetic mod anyways. i don't see how they could provide any real benefit to the suspension...

I've yet to hear of something along those lines, however that doesn't mean they don't exist I suppose... At any rate, you can also get a rear strut bar which I think would serve the same purpose. :dunno:
