Throw out bearing usually make noise when the driver presses on the clutch pedal. Did you replace the pilot bearing?
Throw out bearing?
When I start the car it’s just fine. When I release the clutch there is this noise coming from the transmission. The noise also happens when driving. I’m thinking it’s the throw out bearing which sucks because I just replaced it about 1,000 miles ago when I did my clutch. It’s also the day of graduation so I don’t think I’ll be able to drive the drift car to graduation.

A little ambiguity here: release the pedal or clutch pressure plate (from pressing on the clutch disk)?When I release the clutch there is this noise coming from the transmission.
I doubt a new TOB has noise with 1000 miles.
It’s a blown trans. Drained the fluid and there was metal CHUNKS. Stupid getrag trans
