Instead of people doing searches on trying to find out how springs look and the ride quality you get. Just post what brand of springs you are using, a picture of the drop if you can, and how you like the ride quality if its too harsh, too soft, or whatever. Hopefully we can start a coilver thread too. This way we'll have all the information in one post instead of 50 billion different areas. I hope everyone participates.

Ok, I'll start then since no one else is stepping up...

I have H&R sport springs 29484 with my OEM sport suspension and struts. I love the ride quality and would have to say that my springs have about a 20-30% stiffer ride than the stock sport suspension. My gap width is about a finger width from the top of the tire to the fender.

Here's a pic:

Using Eibach Pro-Kit springs... good drop on front, some people feel the rear is too conservative but it is just right for me. Good right quality, not rough at all. Excellent quality, which you would expect from Eibach.

Thanks! and yes, they are 18s for now :D

I've had the setup for about 5 months now. The H&R sport springs 29484 are actually intended to be used with the OEM sport struts. It's only the H&R race springs that you also need to cahnge your struts, cambers, etc.

Eibach Pro Kit 330ci

This is probably the best thread to unveil all the mods. Thanks to all that helped with opinions and information. Here is a series of three pics:

1) No mods

2) 18" Breyton Visions and clear reflectors

3) Visions, clear reflectors, and Eibach Pro-Kit

I just had the springs installed today. It took about an hour and labor was $140. The ride is a bit stiffer, but very similar to OEM. I wish the rear was dropped a little more, but they said it has a chance of settling a little. So hopefully it settles just a bit more. The next thing I'm going to do is get a H&R spacer for the rear, as the wheels don't quite stick out as far as the fronts.

Once again, thanks to all of you fanatics for answering my questions before I started the mods!

Your car looks great

One question, why would you get a spacer ? Isn't it normal for the rears to be a little tucked in comparison to the fronts ?

Are all of your wheels &the same size ? Also what size tires did you go with ?

18 X 18.5 all around, with 235/40 Bridgestone S-03s.

The rear wheels do not quite sit out as far as the front. I just want to even them out, that's the reason for the rear spacer. :)

Aren't you concerned about rubbing if you push them out, I had the same size tires on my sedan (though my wheels were a 38mm offset) and I know it was pretty close to rubbing if they were out just a drop more . . .

What size spacer do you want to use ?

Also, is this common, I never heard anyone doing it for this reason though I could understand your reasoning . . .

Just 5mm. I measured and it should be fine. :)

I don't want to derail this thread, it will be a great resource for future questions. Feel free to PM me with any other questions!
