It is a bitter sweet moment for the E46 community. This Friday BMW reveals the latest 3 series sedan, chassis code F30, officially making the E46 two chassis codes old :bawling:

That being said the F30 looks like a worthy successor to the E46, I know I'm thinking about getting one. The driver oriented dash (notably missing from the E90), weight savings thanks to material improvements, a sub frame that stays put (maybe), and two turbo engine choices are a tempting package.

I passed one two weeks ago that still had a little camo on it. Im from Park Ridge which is right next to Woodcliff Lake so sometimes I see them driving around, but never get the chance to take a quick picture haha. It does look good though from what I saw. I also saw the F10 M5 pass me once, but once again never got the chance to take the picture haha. Can't wait for Friday.

Yes, the hybrid has more power. Its the N55 TwinPower turbo engine with an electric motor for extra power.

Coupe world premier is 6 months away. We should start getting spy shots of the test mules any day now. BMW wasn't driving the coupe around to not steal any of the sedan's thunder. Now that the F30 3 series sedan is out, the coupe will start being spied.
