Nahh your wrong. . . M3 fan is right.

0-60 4.8 seconds tho

The US Elise will get toyota's 4 cyl. something around that 185 horses is correct

Old specs- "Inline-4, 122hp, weight 1565lbs, 0-60 5.6sec, 0-100mph 17.1sec, Top Speed 124mph."

New specs- "4cyl SC 185hp, 6spd weight about 1950lbs... 0-60 mid 4's and 1/4miles high 11s I think"

I tell you what since it has toyota engine so you know there will be ton of mods avail for this puppy...I can bet this that this car will be neck to neck with 911tt after little mod.
I dorve it right after I got out of my M3 and it felt quicker and handling was even better than my M3 and I use Pss9s on my M3..

It's supposed to get the same engine that goes in the Toyota Celica GT-S. Yeah, search Kazaa for the Top Gear reviews of the Elise. It's an absolute beast at the track, although supposedly it's hard to drive. Jeremy Clarkson experienced a lot of understeer with it, but when the Lotus engineer drove it, he made the thing powerslide to no end!

nice car. great track car. btw, is that an Esprit and a slew of C5's in the background? i have always loved the Esprit V8.......i love it. so are you thinking about getting the Elise?

1796CC, 190HP @ 7800RPM, 133lb-ft @ 6800RPM, 6-speed manual, 2000LB!

Yup, it's basically the same engine as the Celica GT-S!
