tape residue

how do i get ride of tape residue from 3m blue painters tape?

nope...i used it plenty of times...i guess I rinsed it off with water when I was done with everything...

Goo be gone
gum and tar remover
Or you can use a wax and grease remover (prep-sol)

Believe it or not, for tape residue [on glass at least] peanut butter works really really well. Kinda messy, but works. A friend of mine told me about it, and low and behold...

Actually, peanut butter is used to remove wax residue from black moldings. For removing tape residue from the paint, wax or polish will work. Goo-gone will work as well, but it will also remove wax at the same time. If you get tape residue on the glass, use a razor blade to remove.
