My friend and I will be installing the kone/dinan setup on his 2003 330i cabrio next weekend. We have the bentley manual, we've read the DIY on the tech page, and I have experience doing a M3 suspension swap on my e36 (96-328i). Are there any additional tips/tricks/things to watch out for when accessing the rear shock mounts on a cabriolet? I have suggested the following upgrade for a rear shock mount replacement

I also want him to add Z3 reinforcement plates. Are there any apposing arguments for these upgrades? Also does anyone recommend using brand new lower strut mount bolts (kingpin) or just use locktite (blue or red) on the original bolts?

Thanks in advance, Strapp
