Hello guys,
I recently supercharged my 330ci, runing an centrifugal supercharger (by AC Schnitzer) at 0.4 bar @6800rpm.
I run stock fuel system (stock ~250cc injectors).

The car was tuned on the dyno and made 270whp at 5500rpm, then it was running lean and the tuner couldn't push it further.
So we ended up that I need bigger injectors, then I should be looking at ~290whp at the rev limit after a second tune.

So after a lot of research I found the Bosch Green Giants (0280155968) 42lb 440cc and the cheaper Bosch 0280155759 30lb 315cc that seem to fit. And here's my question that I could find answers:
- These injectors differ from the factory ones in shape since they dont have these extended nozzles, is that ok? Will they fit and work the same?
- Are there any better choise in injectors for my setup? Which of the two is better, will Bosch 0280155759 315cc 30lb be enough?
- Will the stock fuel pump be enough for these injectors and ~290whp at 0.4bar?

- Also should I put a check vavle to the vacuum line that goes to the FPR or not?

I've also done a few other mods:
- 264/252 Camshafts
- ported & polished cylinder heads
- high performance valve springs
- Supersprint replica Headers
- 2x 200cell cats
(rest of the exhaust is stock, I can't make too much noise around here)

I forgot my Vanos Solenoid unplugged (did the vanos seals that day) thats why the curve looks funny till mid rpm. :banghead:

You definitely need bigger injectors than stock. I moved up to the green giants recently (I was chasing a rough cold start issue and it was proposed that the green giants have better spray pattern, but they didn't make a difference) but the 30lb should be good enough.

However, I'm running the ESS kit and it replaces the intake manifold entirely, so I can only confirm for you that the top of the 30lb and 42lb bosch injectors will fit your fuel rail and electrical connectors. I can't tell you for certain if the bottom of those injectors will sit into the stock manifold properly or not.

Your stock fuel pump *should* be ok. If its getting old, you could move up to the M3 fuel pump, its basically plug and play.

I'm a bit worried about the different shape of these Bosch injectors that don't have that extended nozzles the stock injectors have.

But I've now found the BOSCH 0280157000 that have an extended nozzle so I'm thinking about buying these.

I got the Bosch 0280157000 (440cc) after all. They fit good in the M54, they are very similar to the stock ones when it comes to dimensions, the extended nozzle and the spray pattern. I got a new tune on the dyno and they worked really well.
There is barely any information online regarding injectors and nobody seems to know much about them.

Get some Siemens Deka 42lb injectors from an old turbo Volvo. Dirt cheap and exact dimensions as the oem injectors, except with twice the flow rate
