You can't check the oil level with a dipstick while engine is running.
Turn it off, wait a couple minutes, pull the dipstick, wipe it off, re-insert and pull straight out. Then you can read the level.

First of all: there is no point in checking your oil with the engine running! On this subject, the manual that came with you car is telling the truth! Just believe the Bavarians when they tell you to turn of your engine, and wait a couple of minutes. THEN check your oil level.

I guess there is nothing wrong here ...

OP, during engine operation there is negative air pressure in the crankcase (fancy word for vacuum) so yes in this case sucking is a good thing. There is really no good reason to pull the dipstick out while the engine is running.

Yes, OP, it's supposed to do that. You're inducing an air leak by removing the dipstick while the engine is running. (There's a reason the dipstick has o-rings.)

I turned her on and and pulled it out...
No wonder she was complaining...Should have known better...
I guess there's ONLY one way to shut her up
Stick it in the hole..Thank goodness the rubbers (orings) are good!!!
