The codes I'm getting are 300 (random misfire) 1343, 1345, and 1347 (misfires on cylinders 1, 2, and 3 with fuel cutoff). I had several other codes prior to these which led me to watch a YouTube video and replace the valve cover gasket, all 6 ignition coils, and all 6 spark plugs. I'm down to these 4 codes and from what I'm reading I'm thinking I need a fuel pump. What do you guys think? It's a 2001 325i.

Also, my car is vibrating right now as I sit here. Not much, but definitely not normal. Through rpm's are steady at the moment.

Need Freeze Frame and warm idle Fuel Trim info.

Every E46 needs a fuel pump IMHO. $145 and about 30 minutes, you will be glad you replaced it.

Siemens/VDO pump and sending unit from BMWParts.com or FCPEuro.

You will need 1 small worn drive hose clamp as well.

Might as well get a fuel filter, but the pump is more important to replace, do that first.

What's the difference between the sending unit and the fuel pump? I just seen both of them on amazon. The sending unit was $175 and the fuel pump was like $150.
