I am trying to get set-up for "street dyno" - allows me to do a dyno chart on the road in my own car at no cost - so I can prove the benefits/otherwise of any mods...

I have downloaded the software from http://www.tweecer.com/StreetDyno/help.html

but can't work out how to connect to the car...

The online help section talks about connecting to ground and the negative side of the coil....not real easy to spot on my 1999 323i.

I ditched the idea of the inductive pickup because of noise, and an absolute caning from the editor at www.autospeed.com (of a similar program called "Home Dyno")

Anyone have any ideas on getting the data via the OBDII diagnostic port - the pinout was provided via a previous thread..

Cheers, Simon
