ive had my car now for about a week and ive noticed that the cds ive been making in my CD-R were skipping, almost every one... they don't skip in any other player.

I thought it was just my CD-R discs, but I bought a new CD and played it, same kinda skipping in a couple spots... it play fine then goes "skip-skip" just for a second and then continues. It seems to do it in the same places which is odd on the same discs. Anyone else's head units seem to skip CD-R or not?

My car and my gf car doesnt skip at all.

Take it back to dealer maybe replace:dunno:

I've also noticed this problem started happening.
For mine, i only have the stock Business CD deck and notice:
- CD-Rs generally skip if you burn it at a rate that's too fast or certain cds seems to skip more than others
- Real CDs....the ones i buy at HMV are ok and no problems at all
- Seems like during the morning in cold weather, it skips more easily.
