How much to the right? If you let go of the wheel on even pavement the car is supposed to drive slightly right. This is a safety thing so if you fall asleep or something you don't hit an oncoming car. I'm not sure that alignments are covered by warranty.
really?

Damn I didnt know that.

WHAT!!!! That's crazy! My $45,000 car is purposefully misaligned? Can anyone else confirm this?
It is common for cars to have a slight right alignment because roads are crowned (slope up towards the middle). The combination of the two balances and the car goes straight. If it bothers you so much take your $45000 car and get a $100 alignment.

:impulss: ouch.
Check your tire pressure first...then check the alignment.
I noticed a slight pull to the right when I first bought my new 325, and realized it was because of the crown in the road. If I got on a totally flat road the car would go straight.

I really find this annoying, that the car is so succeptible to slight deviations in the road. Makes the steering seem darty, and needs constant readjustment.

But other people rave about the BMW's steering, so what do I know?

What kind of drugs are you on? Can I have some?

And people like this buy $45,000 cars
My car tracks perfectly straight - on flat ground.
All cars track to the right on a sloped road. I thought EVERYONE knew that!

On flat roads it goes straight. If your braking and it pulls to one side that can be tire pressure I believe.
