Will an OEM M3 lip spoiler fit a sedan? Any differences between pre and post facelift? What's the part number for the OEM M3 spoiler.

Is there also an OEM sedan lip spoiler? Anyone know the part number?

From searching the forum, it seems $90-100 is the price to pay for an unpainted OEM M3 lip. Is this correct?

Has anyone ever DIY'd the paint job?

Is this a relatively simple DIY with the double-sided tape?

If I decide to not DIY the paint and install, how much should it cost for the paint/install (I'm guessing about $150 to paint and install it :dunno: ).

I really suggest the lip spoilers off a guy on eBay named "xenonspecialist". I just got one for my orient blue sedan and the fit/paint matching was perfect. I paid $85 including shipping.

Thanks:thumbup:

Did you install it yourself or have someone else do it?

If you did it yourself, was it easy? If someone else did it, how much?

p.s. I like the political statement in your sig

I did it myself in about 5 minutes. I just cleaned off the edge of my trunk real well and put on the spoiler little by little while peeling away the cover for the adhesive.

I saw that spoiler on EBAY but not in my color. I think if I wait, then it should show up.

I assume that I need to buy the one designated for the 4DR since I have a 330i. I'm assuming the 2DR spoiler won't fit the sedan. Is that correct?

yes, the 2DR one is wider. What color is your car? I've seen Steel Grey, Titanium Silver, and Jet Black.

how far are you from Granby? I have a friend living up there and visit occasionally. If you have the patience...one of these days, you can pick it up in person in Granby. I will let you know when...too bad it is not this weekend this I am going Friday night. next time perhaps

If you want the OEM M3 lip spoiler for your sedan, you can get it from pacific bmw. I just ordered mine today for my 323i sedan and total came out to be $125 shipped. This price is $95 +tax for lip spoiler, $7.50 for tape, and $14.00 for shipping.

No, it's primered and needs to be painted.

Bimmian has some M-style sedan spoilers!
Is the bimmian one OEM? It is a lot more expensive than the $70 one currently being offered by REVI MotorWerks.

garthbo, hows the paint match on the jet black?

Installed mine last Sunday and it seems like a perfect match even though mine is sapphire black. No regrets whatsoever.

So you got it from REVI MotorWerks? How was the fitment and the "groove" issue? Thanks.

I got it from xenonspecialist from ebay. Fitment is very exact and easily shaped to match the curve of the trunk. Two Groove's are provided for the tape so you wont really see it when looking at the side.
