i take real good car of my car however, i've managed to accumulate a bunch of little specs all over the windshield that i can't get out with anything, not even a razor blade.

does anyone have any experience with these specs? it's very distracting in the sunlight. my wife's car has them also yet her car is about 7 years old and it's really bad.

any advice would help...

Those specs are probably tiny chips in the windshield. There isn't anything you can do about it. Its funny how a 85 Chevy Nova's windshield can look perfect whereas a BMW windsheild will look all chipped up in a few hours! A jewelers rouge can help get a bit of the smaller ones out...but thats about it!
