i have some blown speakers in the back of the car and i would like to just replace all of them with new ones. I have been told that the stereo system is very propietary and i either need to replace the speakers with the same kind or replace the entire sounds system.

What is good source for speakers. I have a 2001 325Ci

do the make kenwoods that "play well" with the BMW original... nevermind, what am I saying. I need to update the CD player anyway... to something that reads music from a thumbdrive or has an internall HDD that i can load music into. I guess I will be saving up to do one big change out.

i have front jbls for sale 5 1/4" replacements ..

I am not sure if that is going to help me until i replace the CD player also. Obviously i know the speakers will put out sound, but the front speakers work fine, it is the back ones that are blown

They're like Boston acoustics if not better
