Hi Guys

A friend informs me that the standard speakers for the E46 are made by nokia ? Is this true ?

I honestly don't know about in the e46, but in the previous model 5-series, the 'subwoofers' in the premium/DSP sound system are a bit on the interesting side.

Nokia made and branded 4" dual voice coil longthrow drivers in a deeply channeled high-density plastic tray, also Nokia labeled.

It wouldnt suprise me in the slightest if Nokia made the e46 speakers.

my really basic 6 speaker system is made by Haes whoever they are :dunno:

A little more digging reveals that it is a combination of nokia and Haes. Some info @

Suprised ? I am. I would have thought they would be by some more reputable manufacturer (s).
