Do i have to buy the WHOLE center console or just the rear ashtray and the armrest itself including the support?

I was thinking of doing the same thing, I think you just need the armrest...but I've noticed more people griping about the armrest and doing the delete then I have seen adding it.

yea iam thinking about buying it used off of ebay but do i have to buy the whole center console? like ive seen a few were the rear ashtray has like these covering for the arm rest's hinges. I dont want to buy the WHOLE center consoloe just the arm rest and the rear ashtray, but i wanna know if its souppose to be like that?

you need the center console with the hole for the armrest, then the entire armrest assembly.

Some people who have m3's want to delete the armrest. A lot of the bigger guys say it interfere's with shifting.

You need their center console and they need yours.
