and they dont feel like they fit right. weird. i just slid them in and they didnt go in to easy. one side snapped in but didnt look right and the other side looks right but didnt snap in. weird. is there a trick to it?

I'm assuming you have the push-in type? If so, you probably need to unscrew your headlights to line them up and have enough room for the corners to properly snap in.

What I did was unscrew the headlights completely, snapped in the corners, then sat the headlights in place for a tight, flush fit. They look perfect
