what would be the advantage of a single wiper... ? ... ? ... ?
On the MB It does clean more at the top corners on the windshield - cuz it have separate small motor that do makes the arm to move up and down when at the corners - but it is just a tiny bit slow at high speed compared to the regular one's - cuz of that movement timing !

ps: do LOVE it on my C280 so big - so huge - so ......

Yea...my mom's E55 has the big single wiper...it's looked goofy at first..then it rained..its absolutely astounding how much more area it covers.

The only thing I hate about aftermarket single wiper conversions is that they put the wiper arm up toward the bottom of the windshield. The MB's is still kinda hidden like normal wipers. It just looks goofy having a single wiper halfway up your windshield!

That bonrath wiper is insane. There's no pic of it when it's in the off position. There's also no indication if you have to do any body modifications.

Any idea?

You can adjust the wiper to where you want it to sit when its in the off position. Fushn just decided to have it up the middle of the windsheild.

as for body modifications, i dont think so. you just use the hole of one of the wipers, and they give you a cover for the other hole.

that blade looks thin as hell. my mom has a 97 E420 with the single blade, and the whiper is this MAMOTH arm! (does a sh!tty job of cleaning the windshield tho)

so i guess what i am asking is, will this product last? is it mostly for show, or will it functionally be able to get through the worst of storms as well as or better than the stock BMW blades?

Can it sit almost horizontal or does it have to look like a cheezy honda?

Someone mentioned that the wiper has separate actuators that 'push' the blade into the corners of the windshield? I'd like to see this. I'm actually curious since I didn't see anything about it on their site.
