:banghead: it finally happened to me. the damn light came on while i was on my way home from work. im going to run a diagnostic on it tomorrow, does anyone know what caused this? i have 69,000 miles on her and she still drives just like te day i bought her. :dunno:

BTW: its not because of the gas cap issue, because it came on before i filled up.

It might be an O2 sensor, that was the case with mine. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay for the replacement if you're not under warranty. :thumbdwn:

Same thing happened to me...my service engine light was on for 3 days straight then went off and hasn't been on since. :dunno: I'm at 45k miles...should I have the dealer check it out before my warranty finishes?
