Hello

My front seats have developed a rattle / rattling / ticking sound. It comes from where the post for the headrest enters the seat. I tried stuffing fabric under the plastics caps but that hasn't worked.

Does anyone know how to remove the black plastic bits that the head rest post slides into?

Alternatively how hot does the seat heating get? Will my seats burst in flames if I spray some WD40 in the headrest holders? That would make an interesting insurance claim.....

Hm, sorry I'm no help, but I'd just like to also complain that my driver's seat squeeks (sp?) all the time. Perhaps WD-40 could fix it? Hm....

i dont know about the squeaking, but the seats arent flammable if you spray some WD40 on it. the heated seats in me E30 back int he day were MUCH hotter.
