I noticed my Nav system is run by a SD card..

So what can I do with it?

It doesn't work.

??? Pictures of this please... The factory system runs by DVD or CD. Also what year / model is your car?

That is very odd, so is the os still the same?

I'm tempted to drive around and have a look haha

The OS doesn't actually boot because there isn't a SD card in it!

That appears to be an aftermarket Nav system connected to a factory BMW head unit. I'd ask around on the Nav forum on bimmerboard.com. One of the experts there might know.

Also, I'd try to contact the manufacturer of the unit. It appears to be:

You might be able to source an SD card from them. I'd pull that Nav unit and get the exact model # before calling them...

That is definitely not an "OEM" Navigation unit in the back.
