I am thinking about this one instead of UUC SSK, I've heard good things about both... any expierence with UUC or did you research about both of them...
I will have to order one soon since these are on sale for $220. How much did you pay? Did you install it your self or...
thanks in advance ;)

I got chuck stickley (cssmotorsports.com) to do it for me. he is a good friend of mine and my engine builder for my race car. he said that the main guy at rogue designed the ssk that uuc sells and they are both pretty much the same but he said rogue is better as far as quality. i think he got it for me for $205 (but that was prob b/c im good friends w/ him). your dealer will prob be able to install it though

I love internet nonsense.

All of the specialists responsible for the design, materials selection, and manufacturing of the proprietary UUC Ultimate Short Shifters are still employed by UUC. Recent staff changes have had no affect on research and development whatsoever.

People who are able to make intelligent and researched comparisons between any products will be able to spot fundamental differences between any products they are considering, rather than relying on anecdotal "hey, I got one of these!" message board postings.

just my opinion, i had a uuc ssk installed on my m3 a few months ago, was not totally satisfied with it being that the shift was not short as compared to others. now i have indeed tried the acs ssk, re octane ssk. my true honest opinion is that i like the acs.. 2nd 4th and 6th are truly shorter.. and there really is more to it than just a name. the re octane is 2nd on my list. regardless what name it is, as long as you like it its fine. im just not happy with the response i recieved from a local uuc dealer. so i will be upgrading to the acs kit or re octane kit. but than again this is just the actions authorized dealer of uuc. which told me you cant go shorter than that and why would you want to. so if i cant ill go elsewhere. ive also heard so many stories of this uuc/re stuff. and it comes out different from every side. so i really must say. ill stick to acs.
