I find it pretty interesting and really want to do a retrofit paddle-shift steering wheel from the M3. I want to know if anybody's done this, where they got their parts from, and a possible DIY for it? How hard was it? How long did it take? If you didn't do it yourself, where'd u get it done?

Vincent Seah is the man to contact. His ID is Mr Paddle.Shift. He sells a DIY kit with everything you need. Although it's costly mod, it's awesome and I highly recommend it.

I believe it's about 1000 for the entire set (wheel, DIY kit). Sometimes, they pop up on the for-sale forum for much less. I bought mine used for $220 (what a steal!!!!!). It's a very worthwhile mod, though. Combined with the Dinan tranny software, it's amazing.
