i have headliner that is sagging to badly to fix. the replacement procedure doesn't seem too hard, but i am hopping to use a new fabric with patterms to add some personality to the car, which worries me slightly. thoughts? suggestions?

i recommend 3m headliner adhesive for this. make sure that you clean the headliner properly and get rid of all the old foam on it. a wire bruh or wire wheel is good just be careful you don’t cut into the actual board. other than that a pretty simple and straightforward job.

I strongly recommend that you pull the headliner and have a shop replace the fabric. If you want to do something different, talk to the shop about it, as you ought to have a foam layer behind it, and you want the fabric to be stretchy enough to confirm to the contours of the board.

It is so cheap to have done once the headliner unit out and they will have a better glue setup.
