So today I woke up early in the morning to take my car to my mechanic to replace most of my power steering parts that made it leak and scared me to death!
Overall I got an amazing price: $882 including labor!

So happy I changed it because I was scared my steering would stop while I was driving, and that would be really bad, especially in the freeway

I go to these guys for everything including oil changes, and I'm really happy with their service. if you guys need anything and are around the burbank/glendale area, you guys should go to them! Bavaria Auto Repair; 9075 Glenoaks Blvd. Unit B Sun Valley, CA 91352... Their office number is 818 771 9727

Anyways, here are some pictures of my beauty at the shop:

This is the place it was leaking from

These parts were changed + another one he drove all the way to Van Nuys to get just so he can let me have my car today!

Shot with a BMW 2002 that they are working on

Vic, working hard! Notice my front bumper  need to get that replaced asap

I have an all new steering system ready to be installed in my car. I have every single part from the reservoir, hoses, pump, steering rack (ZHP), inner and outer tie rods, etc, and I have less than $800 in all of that. Actually, my rack is fine, I just wanted the upgrade. My pump is the only component that is "bad".
I am willing to bet that you got nowhere near that many parts, and you spent $882. Please, list the exact list of parts they replaced, so I can feel even better about doing mine myself.

BTW, even if your pump completely died, you would still have steering. It would require more force, but it would still steer. You did not need to be worried. In fact, some of the guys that run their cars on the track disable the power steering.
