I was also told that the Remus Exhaust (round 2x76mm tips) is a direct fit for the E46 323/328 models and the (round 2x84mm tips) is a direct fit for the E46 325/330 models.

Does anyone know what is the exact total width of the (round 2x84mm tips) for the Remus exhaust (2x84mm + gap between the tips)? I have a 2001 E46 330ci with a Hamann rear add-on and I'm afraid that the (round 2x84mm tips) may not be able to fit on my car without any modifications to my rear add-on.

For those of you who own or have access to the Remus exhaust (round 2x84mm tips), can you please help me measure the total max width of the exhaust tips including the gap between the tips and let me know? I measured my Hamann rear add-on exhaust outlet and it is only about 180mm wide so I think that the total max width of the exhaust tip I can use is about 170 mm.

I posted this request a few days ago in the Site Sponsors Forum of the RENNsport Remus Exhaust GB, but had no luck there yet. Please help so that I can make a decision soon...Thanks guys!

Does anyone have a 2x76 mm Remus exhaust for their 330/325? Can anyone confirm that Remus does not make 2x76 mm exhaust tips for the 330/325? Due to my Hamann rear add-on, I believe I can only get a 2x76 mm exhaust tip to fit through my exhaust outlet. Thanks!

UUC, AA, Esienmann makes 76mm tips.....well, i'm not too sure about the AA tho.

the total max width of the exhasut is very close to 7" so its gonna be a tight fit for u'r 180mm gap back there

Keep in mind that the damn exhaust shifts to the left about a half inch when it warms up :banghead:

Thanks! This is exactly what i'm looking for. 175mm will fit, but would be very tight especially if the exhaust shakes or shifts a little. I don't want to melt my rear add-on paint. I guess I'll look for another exhaust.

Maybe like 5 or 6 steps back. I basically just wanna see if the tips look too huge relative to the whole car.

Thanks! That looks perfect. Have you ever noticed that the stock facelift sedan rear bumper doesn't have the cut that the coupes have around the muffler area. That's what i don't like about the stock bumper.

Yea, it doesnt have the cut because the rear bumper on the sedan doesnt come as low, if you put on an mtechnik rear bumper or some kind of lip, then there is that cut for the exhaust. The way its setup now the exhaust comes out from under the bumper, its a little weird, but thats the way it is. You get used to it I guess.. I'm hoping my exhaust gets totally covered in soot eventually, because I just wanted the exhaust for the sound, not the looks.
