I want to add an xm commander via a blitzsafe adapter to my 2001 325i, and also am debating adding a sub. I know the changer wire is on the left of the trunk, but I cannot get the liner out. I removed the black pins but it seems like it is so stiff it will break things if I force it out. Are there any tricks to it or am i missing something. There is a little tray on the bottom of that side of the trunk that i cannot figure out how to remove. ANy help on this would be greeat, thanks.

the tray needs to come out, if I remember correctly...

There are a couple pins that hold it in, the when that comes out, and with the other pins out, I think the liner will come right out

Dont' forget to remove the big black plastic piece right in the back of the seats. This holds the back portion of the backing/liner together. If i remember correctly, the liner is inserted into small grooves along the trunk. Simply start behind the tail lights and work your way around. It took me about 5 - 10 min to remove them so that I can get to the rear shocks.
