hey folks-

I was surprised I couldnt find an answer to this in the search, but my question has 2 parts:

1) What is the best way to remove the 330 on the back of my car without leaving residue, and without damaging the paint?

2) Is it likely that a 2005 will have had enough sun fading to make it so there will be shadows from the numbers once they were removed?

Car was garaged evenings for most of it's life- but is outside most days.

Thanks for the help,

Andy

What color is the car? Most likely it will be fine, I debadged my 2002 and there was no shadows, etc.

Just spray some WD40, goo-gone or baby oil and use dental floss to take it off, then use the spray again and a microfiber cloth to take out the rest of the glue.

heat gun + dental floss = no damage to car + no breaking badges

goof off/goo gone + soapy water + quick coat of wax = perfect job
