I just purchased a 2003 325i a couple of weeks ago here in Vegas. Already, the dealership screwed up my tint job, and scratched my car twice. The other night, I found a cluster of small circles in the paint on the hood, probably from a rock. Took it to the dealership, and found out in order to fix it they would have to remove the entire hood, the roundel, everything, and paint the whole thing, just to get those chips out. All for a $450 price tag.

I have no idea what to do. Someone said to put racing stripes to cover them, at least to have a reason to paint the hood, but wouldn't that look tacky on a BMW? Any advice would be much appreciated, guys.

Please do anything but put racing stripes on. Take your car to an independent body shop and have them fix it.
