It's rare because not too many people like it to order it when new. Red M3 seats, now that's a different story. Pricing wise, as is, worth not much in my book.

 

It's hard to say anything definitive on their value because yours are messed up. I think they would only be valuable to someone who needed to replace a few pieces.

those seats are pretty beat up. best bet as mentioned is to find a nice small family owned upholstery shop and get a quote to fix seams. Tanin Red isn't that coveted a color. it wasn't some special order, listed in brochures with the other montana leather color options.

 

What color is the exterior of the car, it looks white or silver from the pics. I would def get those pieces sewn back together and moisturize those seats ASAP!!! I like that color and it will look very nice once it's sewn back and greased up!!!:thumbsup:

Get yourself some good quality leather conditioner, work on it well enough to make the leather soft and stretchable and sew sew sew that thing yourself!!!

Just saying......

 

Get them cleaned up and fixed up and put them out there to see who bites. You never know if you're going to come across someone who really needs them or really wants them. That's what it would take to get a decent amount for them, but anything is possible.

Wonder how they would look in a Silver Metallic BMW with all black interior otherwise. I like them!

 

Along with natural brown I'd say it's more popular now then it was 15 years ago. Just look at new car interior colors.
