I'm going to be using a floor jack tomorrow and I was wondering if there are any recommended jack points under the car, or more specifically, any points I should stay away from.

there are designated spots for a jack under the car one behind the front wheel, and one in front of the rear, look under the car u'll see squares put em in the middle of the square.

that's ok for a standard 3-ton floor jack? I'm not going to be using the jack that's in the car.

if you're going to use jack stands, use the differential as the back jack point and put the jack stands on the rubber pieces in front of the rear wheels. Use the rubber pieces to jack the front up, one side at a time, and put jack stands towards the middle/front of the car. Its kinda hard to explain where they are, but just look for a solid place towards the middle of the car kinda in the insides of the front wheels.
