I am doing a complete rebuild of the rear subframe and trailing arms on my Touring. I got the bearings pressed in and need to install the snap rings. I bought a pair of Lisle snap ring pliers that are total garbage.

Can someone recommend a good pair to do this job?

I got Knipex pliers when I did my wheel bearings. Worked great and seemed pretty good quality. 12 3/4" straight internal.

I was able to do it without them. Takes some force but it's manageable

Yeah, I took them in/out of the bearings without them. To take them out I took two small allen keys and put one in each hole of the clip, then used channel lock pliers to squeeze them together. To install I put in one tip and went around with a flat head screwdriver pushing it into the groove.

Your local auto parts store may have some that you can borrow for free.
