Well I finally received the call last night that dealer received allocations for new 04 coupe for April production. I'm confused in that all reports have said March production but no dealers in Houston received any March allocations and have said April production will be first to the US.... is this right?

I'm ordering steel grey with black leather. Question -- is premium pkg worth it? I can order roof and leather cheaper then pkg.... what else in pkg makes it worth it? Not to mention I would rather have alum finish than wood

Sorry for the long post. Been lurking for awhile and looking forward to more important posts (like which mod hole to throw my $$ in first).

WOW! Now that's quick response.

Actually the rain sensing wipers and auto headlights are standard now. There doesn't seem to be much info out there for new prem pkg but I think roof, leather, lumbar and wood are only items.

I'm also getting sport pkg..... does lumbar come with both? Is it needed with the sport seat features??

you also get auto-dimming rear view mirror.

when i ordered my car, i opted out of the premium package and just ordered the leather and moonroof individually just because i didn't like the wood trim.

btw, sport package is a must.

lumbar does not come with sports package. it is not needed to order sports seats.

My bad.... the new silver grey is what I meant.

Is auto dim mirror that big a deal?

What about the lumbar support? I know it's nice but do you have plenty of support in the right places with the seats from the sport pkg?

the pp has lumbar now. Is this for the 330 or 325. Mine is 325, i opted for moonroof first but decided to get pp because wasn't much diff in price. Now i'm wondering what comes in 04 pp

yeah bmw might throw in some more goodies to the PP because now autoadjust headlights, rain sensing wipers have become standard. however, it seems as though bmw is offering aluminum trim AND PP together.. (saw from the german catalogue). anyways what u'r basically missing if u opt out of PP is the lumbar support auto dimming rear view. however, if it's not auto dimming.. i'm sure it's just a touch of a button. hope this helps..

tell us how u like the silver grey when u get it!! i'm still deciding between silver grey or ti silver.. :dunno:
