Ok everybody i have a question for every owner out there. The 10 year anniversary of the last e46's manufactured is coming up next year. That being said warranties and recalls on these cars are well over done since 2k12.

I read lots of stories of subframe, vanos, rod bearings and airbags failures mostly on this forum so im sure somebody had tried getting one done this week atleast. Other than the airbag recall that just got announced has anybody had a recall done on their car recently or some special work? Any attempts out there as well?

well for the record the Subframe wasn't a recall.

don't think Safety Recalls have an expiration.

As a technician at a Honda dealership I can honestly say (although partially regrettable) that safety related recalls do not have a expiration. They stay open to each individual vehicle until it has been performed for said vehicle. This year alone I have done 3 recalls from 1995 and 1997.
