It seem like the auto-dimming on my rear view mirror doesn't dim as dark anymore. It still dims but just not enough anymore. It used to absorb all the light so I can use it even though someone has brights on. I figure if it were a fuse that blew, it wouldn't work at all. Anyone have a similar problem?

If the front sensor were covered/obscured, you would think that it would over darken, i.e., it would think it's closer to night than it really is. Since, it's not darkening enough, it would seem logical that the rear sensor (the one facing you in the car) may not be totally clear.

Other than that, if the fuse was blown, yes, I would expect to not work at all. Perhaps there's a cold solder or bad resistor on it's circuit board, causing it to not operate across it's entire range.
