Rear bumper clip, bumper damage

So some jack ass hit my car in the parking lot while at work and didn't leave a note. Luckily, the damage is pretty minor. I think it was their tire that hit the car. Anyhow, I clayed the tire remnants off of the paint and it looks okay. I'm pretty OCD though so i'll probably have the rear bumper repainted because of it.

Anyhow, the only other problem I have now is the rear left bumper clip. It appears to be bent and isn't holding the bumper completely flush anymore. How do I remedy this? This clip isn't part of the bumper cover guides correct? The clip appears to be bent and slightly rotated. I tried bending it back but cant get it into the right orientation to clip back onto the bumper.

After clay and polish, it is much better, but at the right angle you can still see imperfections in the paint now

This is the clip i'm talking about:

I'm not sure i'll be able to bend this one back. It seems "twisted." Also, the little bump on the bumper that I think the clip "attaches" to is a little deformed. Do you know how to replace the clip?

Ah thanks for the help. I was actually able to rotate the clip back to its normal position and then the bumper clipped right back into place.

Take a look at the pics to see the internals of the bumper. I replaced both guides and there was still a little slack. We ended up using a zip tie.

The clamp in the above post or whatever that's called didn't fit anywhere. I have both those clamps and the mechanic could not find anything to attach them too.
