The Alcantara on my steering wheel is in pretty rough shape, it no longer has the alcantara feel or look to it, and it flakes off whenever its humid or raining out. Instead of getting an entirely new steering wheel and spending $1000 bucks, is there a way to just get the Alcantara replaced? And possible, does anyone know somewhere around New York that it can be done? Any help to steer me in the right direction would be much, much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try just spraying it with water and using a tooth brush to lightly clean it in circular motion. After brushing a section use paper towel to wipe it, tons of brown dirt will come out.

Mine was really rough and gunked up when I bought mine, after an hour of cleaning and letting dry it looks and feels new
