OK, not to heat up the "healthy" competition ... but I need to get a SSK. Has anyone driven both the RE and UUC SSKs? Wondering people's observations and thoughts. Also, do you think you are ok with the stock shift knob.
i heard that the UUC SSK has shorter throws then the AC Schnitzer, but i also heard that the UUC SSK has some ball or some part that if it gets like broken/messed up u can replace it and that cause your gears to pop out sometimes or make them grind and not go in while the AC SSK has that part and u can just replace it and it is not that expensive to do replace if it gets broken. anyone know bout thiss??
Another happy RE Octane ssk owner here as well. I've felt both and preferred the RE for my tastes. But honestly everyone who has had either one have been happy with them. It's probably best for you to find local owners with each kit and judge for yourself.
