how fast (prior to collision) do you have to be going for air bag to deploy.

i guess those who have had an airbag inflate would not exactly be looking at the speedo at the time........probably eyes shut and screaming .....OH F**K

I thought the NHTSA said around 28mph for vehicle to vehicle, based on 8-14mph to barrier contact....
