So... I recently obtained a 2000 323ci with an ess supercharger kit. Long story short the car was really cheap and the owner i purchased it from knows nothing about the car ( go figure).

Car is definitely tuned but feels a little under powered and smells like it is running very rich. I was wondering how do i go about tuning a stock dme? (its a ms42) all i see is tuning software for ms43. Should my local tuning shop have access to said software? There's also these plugs, have no idea what they are for and seem to be running into the dme box. (trying to insert image being having difficulty.

Lastly I was curious what everyone does for wideband sensors on a supercharged system? This car has aftermarket headers that don't join together till pretty far down the car. Should i just get 2 air fuel ratio gauges to read each 3 banks of cylinders?

I would recommend checking with an established BMW tuner for support on MS42. You could try Frank Smith or Mike at TRM.

The ESS tune for the TS kits are notoriously..... lets just be kind and call them unrefined.
