Im just making sure, but does the JL 500/1 amp run 500w @ 4ohm?

i was checking the specs on the website and it says this

Rated Power:
500 W RMS @ 1.5 ohm-4 ohm
(11V-14.5V)

Im not sure if that means 4 ohm? does that mean 1.5 to 4 ohm?

i believe it means 1.5-4 ohms it will put out 500 watts. JL claims no matter what ohm load you put to the amp it will push out that 500 watts of power. so ive been told

I already have 2 JL 10w3D4.

if I run them in series it would be a 4 ohm load.

this amp should do right??

Just double-checking, but are the 10w3D4s 8ohms or 4ohms (I have the Stealthboxes which use 8IB4s which are 8ohms)? If they're 8ohms, you want to wire them in parallel, not series, to get a 4ohm load.
