I'm thinking of changing the auto tranny/diff oil soon, seeing that I'm running close to 50k mi on my car. I hear good things about Redline doing the job well...

For those who've done it already, which oils did you use and how easy was the job? How many mi did u switch them out at? TIA!

Have done it twice now - first at 40K, second at 70K. Using Redline D4 ATF in tranny and 75W-90 in diff.

How easy? The tranny drain and fill plugs are very tight - tough to loosen and then ensure got them re-torqued properly. Diff requires a 14mm hex wrench (not easy to find - got my from the Snap-On man through a mechanic I know). Filling will depend on the ease of using the pump you have. Last time I did it wound up with quite a bit of "spillage" due to problems with my pump (Autozone - $15).
