I'm using a Canon Pixma MG7520 printer and love it. Its my second Canon Pixma printer. My printer is cool and sexy. I picked up one in ORANGE lol
The colors and quality are pretty spot on. I like that Canon switched the paper load to having both trays in the front. In my home I'm printing wirelessly from a PC and Mac. If you have a Mac you have more customized settings, of course. lol For example with some printers you have to select the paper and tray for which you want to print on. I usually will put photo paper in the top tray (4x6 or 5x7) and the bottom tray will have plain letter paper. When I go to print from my Mac, I will just select that I'm printing a photo and it knows that I want to print from the top tray. If I'm printing directly from the Canon App or on other apps on my iPhone, I will have to select what type of paper I want to print on. Also, I can set it to print quietly at any given time.
If you can find the MG750 or MG7720 great. If not, then it looks like the closet in the price range is the Pixma iP8720 or Canon PIXMA MG5722. The down side is the ink is expensive. I've cut the cost by recycling my ink at Staples and buying photo paper when it's on sale.
The link you posted is for a used printer. That's the color of my printer Different model. The one I have uses two types of Black and a Grey...seen below. Newegg has them in stock. I've never purchased anything from there sorry.
I was looking around the web and tried to find something with the similar specs. It looks like Canon went back to the rear tray with most of their current models. The Canon TS9020 prints very similar to what I have. It has the grey and two blacks. When I'm printing for a client I use the Lightroom Print Module so that I can get as close to what I see on the screen. If I'm printing from my iPhone, my printer tends to print darker. So I will just adjust the brightness in the Photo App.
NP I just realized my printer is two years old. It doesn't feel outdated cause she has all the bells and whistles. If you are connecting to a Mac you can easily access more of the Canon printer features. good luck
You can***8217;t even imagine how much I hate wireless printers. My brother has a wireless printer and I agree that this wireless connection is our future, but I absolutely don***8217;t like such innovations. The fact is that I decided to use this printer in order to print my presentation and at the most inopportune moment the printer lost connection with the laptop. As a result, I had to reconnect the printer and start printing again, and I lost a lot of time. So it is a very bad idea to buy a wireless printer. After this, I bought myself a reliable wired model with the best cartridges on mrdepot.ca. The reviews about this store and its products are simply amazing! _sl_
