Hey people -

Getting things in order to sell my 2000 323i sedan, 5 speed, Titanium Silver, sport package non-premium (incl. the lighter manual sport seats), 158k miles.

Very recent maintenance:

Replaced entire steering system, including a NEW OE rack, reservoir, lines, tie rods, and flexible steering coupler.

Replaced transmission - somehow lost 2nd in the original. Replacement trans has 118k miles on it and is working great. Guibo and engine mounts replaced at the same time.

New CA bushings, fairly recent control arms (probably 20k miles or so on them).

3 out of 4 window regulators have been replaced.

Other maintenance items

Stewart Water Pump installed approx 35k miles ago, serpentine belt replaced at the same time
Regular replacement of CAs and CABs
Regular oil/filter changes, always 10k miles or less
Fuel Filter approx 30k miles ago

Mods, currently including everything, may consider parting some:

UUC TSE3 exhaust
UUC LTW Flywheel and M5 clutch
UUC EVO3 SSK with DSSR
UUC Underdrive Pullies
UUC/Wilwood BBK up front
UUC Pipercross intake
UUC Gen2 Swaybars (actually, these are the prototype for the series - marked UUC E46 #1)
UUC Magnesium Strut Tower Brace
UUC Floor Mats
UUC RK6 shift knob and ebrake handle
Alkendesign Tri-Color boots
UUC/Sachs lowering springs/shocks (shocks due to be replaced, see below)
17" OZ Superleggara wheels (one piece, straight but some rash)
Blitzsafe Audio Adapter (for aux input into stock head unit - works with any audio device that has RCA plugs or an 1/8" headphone jack)
M3 RSMs
Clear corners/side markers

Upcoming required maintenance:

Needs shocks - current Sachs performance shocks have approx 75k miles, ride is a little harsh, but no leaking
Needs front strut mounts/bearings - these are original and have a little rattle to them.
Needs front swaybar endlinks
Needs a valve cover gasket
Due for Vanos seals
Needs diff bushings
Due for RTABs
Very small chip in windshield, no spidering - can be easily filled (just haven't gotten to it)
Needs replacement hood Roundel

Extras I'd consider including:

1 set of winter wheels - Fox 6 sport style, 17" with 2 season old Hankook Ice Bear snow tires. Wheels are "ok", but not 100% straight. Great for winter, though. Tires are like new.

OE Roof Rack with (2) OE Bicycle rails (the kind with the upright support)

1 Set of track wheels - 17" OZ Superleggara (same as my street wheels) with Toyo R888s. Wheels are perfect, tires have a couple days left in them.

Barely used set of Fedoro track pads (sized for Wilwood Superlite fronts and stock rear)

The car is straight and rust free. One track day, 2 seasons of autocross several years ago. The car has been in one minor accident (slow-speed rear ending), only damage was a cracked rear valance - it was replaced. Nothing structural - bumper mounts and shocks were unharmed. Not even sure it will appear on a Carfax. No subframe damage/tearing - we were just under there last week, all clear.

I'm looking to come in around $6,500 without the "extras", but everything's negotiable. The car is in Somerset County, I work in Mercer County. I can't make the final sale until the end of September.

Once I'm able to give it a good cleaning, I'll get photos up.

If you're interested, please shoot me an email - [email protected]

Thanks for looking,

Ken

let me know if you decide to start parting out. I would be interested in the strut bar, as well as the sway bar (I have the OEM ZHP bars).

Here are a few from the '07 autox season (only got in one event in this car that year). It looks remarkably similar today... :)

If anyone remembers the old UUC site, my car was the "After" photo they used to advertise the Stage 4 Suspension setup as well.

what kind of interior trim do you have? would you be willing to trade my wood trim for your aluminum (if you have it) for cash on my hand plus my trim

I know you stated that you don't want to part, but I have been looking for a tse3 for a 323 everywhere. I would be willing to buy it and swap my stock one as well.
