I bought a clutch kit thinking it came with the pilot bearing puller tool (extractor), but it didn't. It's a Saturday night and I have set aside hours tomorrow to work on this (the transmission is out and I have replaced the main rear seal, but without the tool, I am stuck. I don't want to order one and wait two days to have it shipped. My question is can I use this Harbor Freight one in place of the SIR Tools one?

Replied in other thread also but in case you see this one first, get this cheaper tool from hf: http://www.harborfreight.com/15-piece-slide-hammer-and-puller-set-5469.html

Use the smaller black arms but only attach one at first so you can fit them both into the bearing, then attach the second one to the tool, adjust so it's snug, and you're set!
